Econ Shock! Stimulus on it’s Way

It's passed, Obama's stimulus bill, with nary a Republican in tow. Money is being printed and shipped to the states. For new roads our failing electrical grid and quit smoking programs, "No Child Left Behind" is actually being funded. With children everywhere worried they'll have to do homework.

If you want to wrap your mind around how much this is. One twitter user said: A trillion dollars is 67.9 miles of $1,000 dollar notes, considering they don't exist ….

This is our economy in cardiac arrest. Citibank thought it would be prudent to spend $50 million on a luxury jet – shortly coming to their senses – once Treasury called and clipped the wings off the project. I can't help but feel that Bush would have asked for a ride.

While the media is saying the plan was conceived in haste, it hasn't been; Obama and his team have been planning this ever since he was elected, maybe even before.

It's well thought out and our version of the "New Deal". While everyone's been screaming against it. Why? I'm not sure. We lost 11,500 jobs on a Tue alone.

School systems need money. We need to buy American, which is one of the provisions of the legislation. For the first time in ages, we're funding public works projects and everyone is screaming. The media is scratching their head, wondering if this will work. Wondering why "No Child Left Behind" is finally being funded. I say, it's about bleeping time.

We need to pump some juice into our anemic economy. It's a lot less tainted with banker heroin, which led to luxury toilets for the investing world, so they could flush their losses in refinement. While my interest rates spike, as CC companies are anticipating my default.

How quickly will this work? I don't know. It's taken many months to reach this point. Today raw goods spiked and showed growth. Will other sectors follow? I'm hoping.

A drunk black girl felt the need to make fun of random people on the train.

First it was the black lady with a white wool scarf, then the latin guy who brandished a tough guy stance, then it was my turn. We were all scoffing, this quite rotund stumpy-short woman with a pink rose, felt the need to make fun of people.

She accused the black lady of licking cunt, called the latin guy a wetback, and encouraged some people down the car to pike up and tell her to. SHUT UP!

This is in stark contrast to the time, a few months ago, when a crazy and weather worn woman – also black. Also short. Felt the need to pull the emergency break on the train, halt it, and cause everyone on the one line to be late by an hour. She caused the Ukrainian guy next to her to almost assault her. He didn't want to give up his unfortunate seat next to her as she battered with gay slurs. Called him all those horrible names gay people are so used to, I found it hard to hear.

I've been spit on, in the subway. By this hot skater (who I wasn't checking out) he was a skinhead with the right amount of tats – this was summer.

In all these cases I was clutching my magazine trying not to get noticed as my city radar, that sense of self preservation kicked in.

When it came to my turn, I tried to block her for a while. Turning to my side, keeping an eye on her yet not responding, yet her spry words got to me, only because she was so off base and I felt like standing up for myself. Turning it into the joke that it was as she spouted alcohol driven words.

So the conversation went something like this.

drunk woman: You want to suck her old cunt don't you.
   me: (ignore, hold New Yorker tighter)
drunk woman: I bet you like fucking cobweb pussy, pussy … pussy.
   me: (evil stare)
drunk woman: Damn glasses look ugly.
   me: (anxious laughing stare)
drunk woman: You like VAAAAAAAAGGGGGG!
   me: I suck cock! (bitch)
drunk woman: you mean you haven't found a girl to satisfy you.
   me: sigh.

Normally when I say something like, I'm gay, I suck cock, or any of those other things that come with coming out of the closet to a stranger that feels moved to curse. It makes them stop. She of course, kept on going. This is when she bitches about my glasses my sad zit and thinks I need to meet the right girl. I hold my tongue for the rest of the trip yet she keeps on going, I finally point out the fact that she drunk.

The guy with her is trying to make her stop verbally assaulting everyone within shouting range, she starts saying that I want her man, who has gold gaps on crocked teeth.

I breath in, control my anxiety. Of course the car is too packed, I'm to tired to leave the train. I wait the few stops home, clutching my magazine.

There is much work to be done. I can't stop thinking, this person, would vote for Prop 8 if she lived in CA.
